Brand1 privacy notice
Privacy, in plain words.
This notice explains how Brand1, a brand and creative studio, handles personal data. The short version is below; the full data protection notice follows it.

- Providers that host the site and send email, under contract, for these purposes only. We name each one on request.
- Where is it kept?
- With those providers. Any transfer abroad uses recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
- How long?
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after last contact. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Applications: 12 months.
- Your rights
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability; withdraw consent at any time.
- Complaints
- Our data protection contact, privacy@brand1.ai; or a data protection supervisory authority.
Your data protection rights
As easy to take back as it was to give.
Email privacy@brand1.ai from the address you gave us, or use “Privacy choices” in the footer for cookies. We confirm who you are, then act within one month.
- Access
Ask what we hold about you, what we use it for and who has processed it, and get a copy.
- Rectify
Fix anything inaccurate or incomplete, or bring it up to date.
- Erase
Ask us to delete your data once the purpose is served, or when you withdraw consent.
- Restrict
Ask us to pause using your data while a question about it is settled.
- Object
Object to any use based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Port
Receive the data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format, or have it sent on.
- Withdraw
Take back any consent, as easily as you gave it. It doesn't undo what was lawful before.
- Complain
Tell our data protection contact, or go straight to a data protection supervisory authority.

Written to the standard of the GDPR and UK GDPR.
Who we are
Brand1 (“we”) runs brand1.ai and is the controller for the personal data this site collects. You can reach us at privacy@brand1.ai. We are a brand and creative studio. Studio in Chennai, working worldwide.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: usually your name, work email and organisation, and only the other fields that form needs.
- Files you choose to upload, such as tender documents or brand guidelines.
- Analytics on page visits, only if you agree in “Privacy choices”.
- Essential cookies that make the site work, such as remembering your privacy choices.
We ask only for what the purpose needs. The Brand Health Scan asks for name, work email, company and website.
Purpose and lawful basis
- To reply to you and send what you asked for (a Scan, a proposal, the price sheet, the Brand1 Review). Lawful basis: your consent.
- To review the public touchpoints you list for a Scan. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in doing the work you asked for.
- To keep the site running and secure. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.
- To measure visits, only if you switch analytics on. Lawful basis: your consent.
Each form says its purpose beside the button that sends it.
Consent and notices
Every form shows a short data protection notice before you send it. Each optional purpose has its own checkbox, and nothing is ticked for you. We record which notice version you saw and which purposes you agreed to, so we can show it later.
Where it is kept
With the providers above. If your data is transferred to another country, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, and we send a copy of the relevant safeguard on request.

Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent: email privacy@brand1.ai, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. We reply within one month.
Data protection contact
If something has gone wrong, write to our data protection contact at privacy@brand1.ai. Tell us what happened and what you would like us to do. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example where you live or work.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Accessibility
We build brand1.ai to WCAG 2.2 AA: visible labels on every field, errors in words as well as colour, full keyboard use and no puzzles to prove you are human. Every animation respects your device’s reduced-motion setting, and “Motion” in the footer turns it off. Every interactive demo has a text version.
If something on the site doesn’t work for you, write to hello@brand1.ai and we will fix it or send you what you need another way.
Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, we update the version and date at the top of the page. If a change affects a purpose you agreed to, we ask you again.
Your personal data, answered
What personal data does Brand1 collect?
Brand1 collects only what you type into its forms, such as your name, work email, company and message; analytics on page visits, and only if you agree; and the essential cookies the site needs to work. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we use no advertising trackers. Form data is used to reply and send what you asked for.
How do I exercise my data protection rights?
Email privacy@brand1.ai from the address you gave us and say which right you want to use: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability. We confirm who you are, then act within one month. You can withdraw consent at any time, change cookie settings through “Privacy choices” in the footer, or complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
How long does Brand1 keep personal data?
Brand1 keeps enquiries and Scan bookings for up to 24 months after last contact, a Scan preview result for 30 days, newsletter details until you unsubscribe, and job applications for 12 months. When the purpose is served, the data is deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
