Brand Check, the brand compliance checker Know when your brand drifts.

Brand Check is a brand compliance checker for brand teams: every poster, pack and post is compared with your brand and given one clear score out of 100, with a plain note on what to fix.

Runs inside the studio and every Brand Health Scan.
Woven since1962.Halden

Same brand. One drifted.

Brands rarely break in one go. They drift: a colour from an old file, a logo squeezed to fit, a crop that loses the label. A brand consistency check with logo misuse detection sees it before it ships.

One on-brand score your whole team understands.

No dashboards to learn. Each piece gets a score out of 100 and a short note in plain words: what drifted, where, and how to bring it back.

Thresholds are agreed with each client. Some things, like a misused logo, always go back.

  2. 02ColourYour palette, in the right proportions, with enough contrast to read.
  3. 03TypographyYour typefaces and your hierarchy: what is loud, what is quiet.
  4. 04Tone of voiceCopy that sounds like you, measured against your own written examples.
  5. 05Required linesThe legal lines, disclaimers and credits each piece must carry.
  6. 06AI labelsA clear label wherever the rules ask for one, and credentials on the file.

FAQ

Brand compliance, answered

How do you measure brand consistency?

Measure brand consistency by checking each piece of work against the same written rules and scoring it. Brand Check looks at six things, logo, colour, typography, tone of voice, required lines and AI labels, weighted to your brand, and gives one score out of 100. Averaged across touchpoints, the scores show where a brand is drifting.

How do you check if content is on brand?

Check content against a living brand source, not memory. Brand Check compares a poster, pack, post or film frame with the rules in Brand Source and returns a score out of 100 with plain notes on what drifted and where. Work at 85 or above is ready; lower scores go to a designer, who makes the final call.

What does Brand Check score?

Brand Check scores six things a good art director checks: the right logo version with clear space, the palette and contrast, typefaces and hierarchy, tone of voice against your own examples, required legal lines and credits, and visible AI labels where rules ask for them. Weights and pass marks are agreed with each client.

Does Brand Check replace a designer?

No. Brand Check finds drift quickly; people decide. Work scoring between 70 and 84 goes to a designer for review, and anything below 70 goes back to the studio. Some issues, like a misused logo, always go back whatever the score. Brand1, a brand and creative studio, keeps a named person accountable for every sign-off.

How can I try Brand Check?

Try Brand Check through the free Brand Health Scan, which runs it on a sample of your touchpoints against your own brand and returns scores with notes. Brand Check also comes with a Brand Source licence. It is not yet a self-serve tool, and licence cost is scope-dependent; request the price sheet for terms.
