Brand consistency, sample result

62

A good brand, told five slightly different ways.

Specimen project. Halden Group is a fictional textile group Brand1 made to show the method; it is not a client. Your Scan measures you against your own brand, not ours.

  1. Logo · costs the most

Seven versions of the logo are in use.

One has been recoloured on the careers page, which is the single biggest thing holding the score down.

  2. Colour

    Four slightly different reds.

They look the same at a glance, but side by side the brand feels less sure of itself.

  3. Type

Five typefaces where two would do.

Campaign headlines use a family the rest of the brand never sees.

  4. Voice

The careers pages sound like another company.

Warm and plain on the website, stiff and formal when hiring.

  5. Care

Two forms are missing a privacy notice.

An easy fix, and one that matters to the people filling them in.

The sample is a specimen. Read the full Halden Group specimen case study, see how Brand Check, our brand compliance checker scores work, or how the Brand1 Index methodology measures consistency.

FAQ

The free brand health check, answered

What is a brand health check?

A brand health check is a short audit of how consistently a brand shows up in public: website, social channels, packaging, advertising, hiring pages and sales material. Brand1's version, the Brand Health Scan, measures your touchpoints against your own brand, not a generic standard, and turns the findings into a score out of 100 and a short list of practical fixes.

What does the free Brand Health Scan include?

The free Brand Health Scan includes three things: a consistency score out of 100, the three issues costing your brand most, each with a practical fix, and a 45-minute walk-through with a Brand1 partner. A strategist reviews your public touchpoints and anything you choose to send. There is no cost and no obligation to buy anything afterwards.

How long does a brand audit take?

Brand1's Brand Health Scan takes one week from booking to walk-through. Booking takes two minutes: name, work email, company and website. A fuller brand audit inside an identity programme or brand strategy project usually runs two to three weeks, because it adds interviews with leaders and customers, competitor review and an inventory of every brand asset.

How does Brand1 use AI in a brand audit?

Brand1 uses AI to gather and compare touchpoints quickly, such as checking colours, type, tone of voice and logo use across many pages at once. A strategist then reviews every finding, removes anything wrong and writes the recommendations. A named partner signs off the result and presents it to you; nothing is sent without a person checking it.

What happens after the Scan?

Nothing, unless you want it to. Many teams fix the three issues themselves. If the Scan shows deeper problems, the usual next step is a 5-day Brand Foundations Sprint to agree the brand on one page, or an identity programme. Brand Source, our brand management software, can then keep every team and supplier consistent. Scope and terms are on the price sheet.
