AI and Content Credentials policy
How we use AI, and how you can check.
This is the Content Credentials policy of Brand1, a brand and creative studio: our commitments on authorship, consent, AI labelling and C2PA provenance, for client work and for this website.

Commitments
Eight rules, for every job.
1. People author every mark
Every logo, wordmark, symbol and mascot is drawn and finished by a named designer, with the exploration logged.
2. Consent before likeness
We use a real person's face or voice only with written consent covering the media, territory and term. Without it, we don't make the work.
3. No fakes
We never fabricate people, endorsements, testimonials, results or places shown as real, with or without a label.
4. Labels where required
We label synthetic content wherever the law or a platform requires it, and wherever a viewer could be misled, with labels such as “Video created using AI”.
5. Credentials on every file
Every delivered file carries signed Content Credentials (C2PA): the AI tools used, the version of your brand guidelines and the human edits. We never strip credentials or watermarks.
6. Your data trains nothing shared
Client data never trains shared models. Each client's style models belong to that client and are never merged.
7. Model-neutral, and named
We choose models per job and name them in each file's credentials.
8. A person signs
Every job is reviewed and signed off by a named person. Nothing ships without one.

On this website
Images and films on brand1.ai created or substantially changed with AI carry a visible label and Content Credentials. Specimen projects are fictional and labelled. When we show portraits of our people, they are photographs.
Licensed photographs are listed with their photographers on photo credits. Read how human authorship of logos works at Brand1, and the AI labelling rules brands need to know.
How to check
Three steps, any file.
- 01
Use the link
Use the “View Content Credentials” link on the image or film.
- 02
Or verify the file
Upload the file to a C2PA verifier such as contentcredentials.org/verify.
- 03
Look for the signer
Look for the signer “Brand1” and the date it was signed.
Some platforms strip metadata on upload. If a copy has lost its credentials, the original still has them; ask us.

AI, labels and Content Credentials, answered
What are Content Credentials?
Content credentials are signed, tamper-evident records attached to an image, video or document that show where it came from and how it was made: who signed it, which tools were used, including any AI, and what edits people made. They follow the open C2PA standard, so anyone can inspect them with a free verifier such as contentcredentials.org/verify.
How does Brand1 label AI-made work?
Brand1 labels synthetic content wherever the law or a platform requires it, and wherever a viewer could be misled, using plain labels such as “Video created using AI”. Every delivered file also carries signed C2PA Content Credentials listing the AI tools used, the version of the brand guidelines applied and the human edits. We never strip credentials or watermarks.
What is C2PA?
C2PA, the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity, is an open technical standard for content provenance. It defines how a signed manifest is attached to a file so that its origin and edit history can be verified. Brand1 uses C2PA Content Credentials on every delivered file and signs them as “Brand1” with the date of signing.
Does Brand1 use AI to design logos?
No. At Brand1, every logo, wordmark, symbol and mascot is drawn and finished by a named designer, with the exploration logged. AI is used elsewhere in production, such as image and film generation, adaptation and checks, under human direction. Human authorship of marks also matters for copyright: in many jurisdictions, work generated wholly by AI cannot be protected.
Is client data used to train AI models?
No. Brand1 never uses client data to train shared AI models. Each client's style models belong to that client alone and are never merged with another client's. Brand1 is model-neutral: it chooses the right model for each job and names it in the file's Content Credentials, and a named person reviews and signs off every job before it ships.
