Creative quality control Nothing leaves unfinished.
At Brand1, a brand and creative studio, every piece passes eight checks and is signed by a named person before it reaches you. Here is what we check, in plain words.
Eight design quality checks on every piece.
A film, a poster or a single social post: the same checks, every time, by people who know the brand.
- 01
The brief is clear.
Before anything is made, a partner agrees with you what it is for, who it is for and how we will know it worked.
- 02
It is on brand.
Colour, type, image and voice are checked against your system, by eye and against Brand Source.
- 03
The craft is finished.
Type is set by hand, images are retouched, films are graded and mixed. Nothing leaves at ninety per cent.
- 04
The words are right.
Every line is read by a writer and proofed. Facts and claims are checked against a source.
- 05
Rights are cleared.
Fonts, music, footage and likeness are licensed or consented in writing for the media, places and time they will run.
- 06
Everyone can use it.
Contrast, captions, alt text and reading order are checked so the work reaches everyone it is meant for.
- 07
It is honest about AI.
Where AI was used, the file says so. Labels go on wherever the law or the platform asks for them.
- 08
A named person signs.
The last check is a person putting their name to it. If they would not, it does not ship.

Your signature
Human sign-off, three times.
Our checks keep the work right. Your sign-offs keep the brand yours.
- At the end of Define
You sign off the strategy.
Your leadership agrees what the brand stands for before a single mark is drawn. Design then has something firm to stand on.
- At the end of Design
You sign off the identity.
You approve the identity as one whole system, not a logo on its own, having seen it working on the things you actually make.
- At the end of Codify
You sign off the system.
Brand Source is checked, versioned and handed over. From here on, every piece of work is made from it.
Once you sign, it stays signed.
What stays fixed
- The strategy you agreed
- The master artwork of your mark
- A finished film, once approved
How it changes
- Only when you ask
- In writing, with the reason
- Signed again by the same people

Quality control, answered
How do you quality-check AI-generated creative?
Every piece, AI-assisted or not, passes the same eight checks at Brand1: a clear brief, on-brand against Brand Source, finished craft, proofed words, cleared rights, accessibility, honest AI labelling and a named signature. People who know the brand do the checking. Automated consistency checks help, but a person makes the final call on every piece.
Who signs off work before it ships?
Two sets of people. Inside the studio, a named person puts their name to every piece before it leaves; if they would not, it does not ship. On the client side, leadership signs off the strategy, the identity and the system at three fixed points in the process. Once signed, those decisions change only when the client asks, in writing.
What checks does every Brand1 piece pass?
Eight. The brief is clear. It is on brand. The craft is finished. The words are right. Rights are cleared for fonts, music, footage and likeness. Everyone can use it, with contrast, captions and alt text checked. It is honest about AI, with Content Credentials and labels where required. And a named person signs it.
How do you check AI content for rights and likeness?
Before anything ships, fonts, music, footage and any real person's face or voice are licensed or consented in writing for the media, places and time the work will run. Brand1 never fabricates people, endorsements or results presented as real. Files carry Content Credentials listing the AI tools used, and visible labels are added wherever the law or the platform asks.
